HHMS PTO relies primarily on donations through our annual FUNdfest to fund the programs and services we provide to our school. Focusing on direct donations allows us to avoid the hassle of sales fundraisers. What’s more, we keep 100% of the revenue, allowing us to sink that right back into our school. Visit our online FUNd Fest donation page at http://hhmspto.net/fundfest-2018/
That said, we do also participate in a number of “easy fundraisers” that give us a percentage back based on what you already spend on certain products or at certain stores:
Many of the products you already buy at the grocery have pink “Box Tops” on them. Clipping these gives our PTO cash back. The top classes bringing in Box Tops each semester will win prizes! To participate, we ask that you: 1) Trim around the dotted line on each Box Top (this helps us with counting), 2) Put all Box Tops in a baggie with a note inside with the student’s name on it (marker on the baggie rubs off–we learned that the hard way!), and 3) Make sure the Box Tops haven’t expired; unfortunately we can’t turn in expired Box Tops.
Kroger Community Rewards
This program is tied to your Kroger Plus card and gives us a percentage of your purchases when you use your card. Register your card with Kroger using the Highland Hills Middle School PTO ID#RN573 in order for us to receive credit. You can enroll online at http://www.kroger.com/communityrewards or by calling 1-800-KROGERS.
Third Thursdays Dine Out Night
On the third Thursday of every month, several area restaurants will be hosting a spirit day for our PTO, giving us 10- 20% of their sales when you tell them you’re there to support HHMS PTO. Remember to “say before you pay” that you’re there for HHMS PTO so we get credit for the sale. Valid for dine-in, carry-out, and drive-through!
We offer Texas Roadhouse gift cards for sale in mid-November. Many families find these make great stocking stuffers, and PTO receives 20% on any cards purchased. Texas Roadhouse also provides us with many freebies, food, and give-aways through the year that support our various programs.
Every October the PTO sponsors the Paoli Peaks Ski Club. For every Master the Mountain (MTM) Pass we sell, we get 20% back. This is a $149 pass for six ski passes and two free lessons. Information is available end of September/beginning of October.
The first Saturday in November the PTO hosts our annual Holiday Bazaar. Vendors who craft, bake, and make are welcome to register via the website or by mail to firstname.lastname@example.org A percentage of the booth rentals go to our PTO for sponsoring this event.
