Tomorrow, Thursday April 12 is the last day to turn in RSVP envelopes and t-shirt orders for the April 27 Jags Bash. If you did not receive an RSVP envelope, you can print one out here: Jags Bash Flashback envelope. We have volunteer spots open for this event. Volunteers receive a free t-shirt as a thank you! If you already have a background check form on file for HHMS, you are good to go; if you have one on file at another school in the district, you will still need to submit one to HHMS. We are still looking for pictures of 8th graders to use in the 8th grade slide show. If you have photos to share, please email them to email@example.com with the student name in the subject line. Deadline for submission is Friday, April 13.
At Monday’s PTO meeting, we discussed some changes to improve our bylaws. The bylaws with highlighted changes are available on our website at HHMSPTObylaws-proposedrevisionsApr2018. These changes will be voted on at the May PTO meeting.
And finally, we held our 2018-2019 PTO Board elections at Monday’s meeting with the following results:
- Vice-President: Stefanie Mills
- Treasurer: Marsha Weaver
- Secretary: Stefanie Davis
- Director of Communication: Karen Bassett
- Director of Fundraising: Amy Grellinger
- Director of Hospitality: Laura Muncy
Additionally, we had open positions on the slate for President and Director of Programs. Per our bylaws, following the election, the Board received nominations for these positions and appointed Hollie Bretthauer for President and Virginia Greer for Director of Programs. We’re looking forward to a great year next year with a great PTO Board!
